Who Is Anton Chekhov?
UM Drama Lecturer Katherine Mendeloff and UM Prof. of Slavic Languages and Literatures Michael Makin will discuss Chekhov's role in Russian literature and society on Mon., Mar. 22 at 7 PM at the Downtown Library. UM acting students will also perform several scenes from Chekhov's classic, Uncle Vanya. This event is held in conjunction with the upcoming UMS production of Chekhov's Uncle Vanya by the Maly Drama Theater of St. Petersburg. Cosponsored by UMS
