Ineffective

I love learning new languages; I have listened to at least 30 audio learning courses over the years and have heard a very wide variety in terms of quality. This was, unfortunately, one of the worst. There was almost no time spent on review, so there was nothing to help you actually learn the language. If you're looking for a Korean language audio program that will actually teach you the language, try the one from Pimsleur. The call number is Lang-Learn-KOR 495.7 Pi V.1A.
Good Customer Service Read

Very useful book for thinking about/learning about customer service. It has a number of case studies you can draw inspiration from.
Heartwarming

A simple, enjoyable show. If you like generally heartwarming television and beautiful scenery (mountains of Alberta, Canada), you'll enjoy this show. I don't even really like horses (I'm actually a bit afraid of them), but I respect the love other people have for them, and that's something that certainly comes through in this show.
Make More with Less

Absolutely loved this book (well, it's 3 books in one, made up of the author's newsletters). The ideas are great! I finally realized I needed to just take notes as I went since I'd used up every little scrap of paper in the house to bookmark the ideas I wanted to save. She includes simple and creative ideas for saving money, living a more healthful and happy life, and making a lower environmental impact (as these things so often go hand in hand). Some of her ideas may be more extreme (or time consuming) than what you're willing to do, but you will certainly find tons of simple-to-apply concepts and recipes.
Become a Cheapskate

We are already living a very cheapskate lifestyle, so many of the ideas in this were not new to us at all, but Yeager's writing style was so humorous that we both ended up really enjoying this book. It also helped crystalize for us some of the thoughts/behaviors we had towards money that we hadn't really thought about consciously. We even ended up purchasing (I know, not very cheapskate of us) a few for family so they'd understand the way we are a little better. Definitely recommend if you're thinking about trying to live better while saving more (and be happier throughout).
