This memoir of Patti Smith in the late 60's and 70's was a big let down for me. She lived this incredible life doing cutting edge things and seems like she doesn't know how to write about it. I thought because she is a poet the writing would be better. Although some of the antidotes were interesting I felt like Patti was making a running list of people and places most of the time. I also thought she needed a better editor.
