Life Blooms

This is a really enjoyable and most interesting documentary. Which can be hard to come across sometimes these days, it reminds us of how nature is still calling the shots and that she will continue to do so, regardless of what we may think.
Yeah, no wait??????what the???

How can a story and the characters involved start out so strong and become dumber as the film goes along ? I guess the same way as say something like the film "Heat" might. The actors are good at what they do, it's the story that seems to die as you are watching it.
Why ??

Why would you take the memory of such a nice and well thought out story like this TV series had and dilute it down to a cheap knock off copy. I now hear they're going to make a second installment, again I ask why, is there still some life left in this franchise that needs to be crushed?

You would think that with Steven Soderbergh making a return to intimate storytelling he would give us some enlightenment with a smile or even a tear along the way. What I didn't expect was to be put to sleep. I can not tell you why this film was made, other than Mr.Sonderbergh has a infatuation on Ms. Grey, "the porn actress", or maybe it's that male thing of finding a heat of gold in the fallen woman, but what he fails to recognize is that to pick someone up they have to fall first and Ms.Grey enjoys her porn career and has said so many times, and judging from her acting in this film, she should, I'm sad to say, return to it.

Let me start by saying that I am not a fan of J-C films, but having said this, I must now eat those words, because this is one of the most heartfelt and sincere films I've seen in a long time. This story re-tells all of us something we've all forgotten "don't judge a book by it's cover" and that every moment spent on this earth is far greater than what might be on the otherside and that life is too wonderful to waste. I highly recommend this film to everyone...
