Although this book is not as good as the past books in the "Warriors" series, it is still very interesting. Even though some people may feel disappointed that there is no huge battle in the book, do not fear. The Dark Forest battle is in the next and last book of this "Warriors" sub-series. The book has some action, but mainly it just plays a big role in building up the plot in preparation for the writing of the Dark Forest battle. This is a great book, and if you enjoyed the other books in this series, you should read it.
This book is written by John Flanagan, the author of the "Ranger's Apprentice" series. Although the plot may not seem very good at first, it quickly blooms into something that fans of "Ranger's Apprentice" would enjoy. It talks about teenagers and describes their competitions in a program they are competing in. This is a great book for all of those who have read "Ranger's Apprentice," and I highly recommend this new series of John Flanagan's.
If you enjoyed reading the "Smurfs" comic books by Peyo, you will definitely enjoy the movie. Also, if you like humor, this movie is great for you and your whole family. It is very interesting to see these little blue creatures experience life in our world, which is much more technologically advanced than theirs. The evil wizard Gargamel is very funny as well, and he brings lot of humor into the film instead of fright. This movie is great for movie nights, and I recommend that you watch it.
This book was very sad and touching for me, and I'm sure it will be for all age groups who are old enough to know about the tragedies of World War II. It describes the life of a girl whose mother gives her to a foster family to take care of. At first she struggles at being with her new family, she eventually fits in and lives a somewhat normal life. However, things begin to change and take a turn for the worse... This is a very emotional book, but it is very fitting to be used in book groups at school. Many teachers recommend this book, and I do too.
This book contains several mini stories describing Gilan, Will, and Halt's adventures that were not mentioned in the main series. I enjoyed the mini stories in this book. What amazed me is that John Flanagan was able to make the stories so good without much plot buildup for each story. I really enjoyed this book, and if you have read John Flanagan's "Ranger's Apprentice" series, you should most definitely read this book.
