Great book - we first read it 3 years ago, and have eaten a vegan diet ever since. The facts cited in the book made sense to us. Both of us have lost weight, feel great, and don't really miss the meat. It is harder not to eat cheese - no pizza... Giving up milk and other dairy has helped me - I never realized I had some lactose intolerance. It's relatively easy to eat vegan in Ann Arbor, what with all the great grocery and restaurant options for vegetarians.
Really enjoyable and fun story of Celia, the perfectly normal daughter of 2 superheroes in a city challenged by super-villains and protected by a cadre of superheroes with a variety of special skills. Highly recommended.
Excellent book about the changes in journalism which began at the time of the Clinton/Lewinsky affair. Many articles were published with mostly anonymous sources, or shady sources, in an effort to publish when events happened quickly and few were willing to go on record. An interesting view of the field of journalism and the challenges in meeting deadline - highly recommended.
Story draws you in and races to the ending. Will definitely read more of her work.
Thought-provoking book about how small changes and choices we make may have a huge impact - some good, some not so good. I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend it!
