Kevin Free provides the perfect voice for Cotton in this fable about an American who experiences almost every form of discrimination and prejudice in American society. The story is sometimes hilarious, and at other times it is heartbreaking. It is a story that I will long remember. The audio version is highly recommended.
This film was groundbreaking when it came out in the 1950s. There was nothing else like it and it sparked interest in space travel and in science fiction. It's low tech, but high in message. Great film and must not to be confused with the one that came out later.
This is an amazing, brilliantly written book. It is especially intriguing on CD. Each of the 6 voices ends abruptly but returns later to complete the story. Ingenious and exciting use of language and structure.
