How would it feel to wake up one day and not know who you were? Who is this person who says we're married? How do I drive a car? Use a phone? Sounds terrifying, and Su Meck does a great job relating her experiences dealing with it. Good, easy read.
This might be an okay tool to teach really young kids how to follow cooking instructions. I believe we can teach children simple recipes that are much healthier (and tastier!) than the ones presented in this book. Wouldn't really recommend for kids over 3 years old.
This book is a bit racy, probably not for kids. But it has some interesting facts in it, the one that has stuck with me is how the different kinds of taste buds (sour, salt, sweet, etc.) are all over your tongue and not in the areas I remember being taught in school. My dad loves weird fact books like this so I will probably get it for him for Christmas.
Beth told me she really liked this book. :)
The cover image kind of says it all, this isn't a comfortable book to read, just like you'd be uncomfortable if you saw a vase of flowers shatter in front of you. The writing is decent, and I made it all the way to the end, unlike some similar books about hostile family situations (I'm looking at you, The Dinner).
