There are sections of this audiobook that are fun, clever and enjoyable to listen to. There are others that go on tangents (like the history of cats and a mule rescue) that just didn't flow for me. I found this audiobook hard to get through.
I listen to audiobooks while driving and I couldn't wait to get back in the car to hear this CD. This is a story about a teenager who gets to see his life in a whole new way after he learns that his biological father might not have been the person his step-dad said he was. The teen is sent on a journey across the nation full of great characters and self-revelation.
This movie slowly shares the life of a small village and the change that is brought about by the appearance of Babette. The scenery is beautiful. The message meaningful. Worth watching.
This is a charming movie about an elderly man hoping to find peace with his estranged brother. The story moves slowly accompanied by beautiful scenery and music. There are several touching scenes where Alvin quietly shares his life's wisdom with the people he meets along the journey. Worth watching.
I thoroughly enjoyed this search for meaning in one woman's life. I liked the interplay between the exploration of her yoga practice and her life experiences. I didn't want the audiobook to end. Well read by the narrator.
