I did not read the book,so I had no expectations as to the plot. I LOVED it.
Sadly,too much hype. The movie did no meet my expectations.
This movie was more of a drama than a comedy. Maybe if it had been billed/marketed differently my expectations would not have been contradictive to the actual plot of the movie.
With the star power in this film I was prepared to be entertained. Instead, the movie moved along in fits and starts and was painful to watch. I just kept hoping it would get better. It did not.
I enjoyed watching this movie with my daughter. The characters were fresh and the humor spot on.
