I read the book with my daughter a few years back and was hesitant to see the movie. The books illustrations were so superb I was sure the movie would be a disappointment. Well, I was wrong. The movie was beautifully crafted and one we are sure to own.

Humans and Vampires and Lycans,oh my! Not the best in the series but a great set up for another in the franchise.Please say it is so!

While I found the movie entertaining it was not what I was expecting from watching the promos.
Gutsy remake

I thought it was very gutsy to remake such a fabulous John Wayne movie. I initially did not want to watch this movie because I am a huge John Wayne fan and could not imagine Jeff Bridges filling his shoes. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed the film. Kudos.

This movie did a dis-service to both Queen Laifah and Dolly Parton.
