Communications:
Develop high-level internal and external communications that get the message out, to all, about what we do and how we do it
Goal 1: Strengthen the Library's public image and identity
- Engage a communications consultant

Goal 2: Ensure that our community is aware of our existing and growing set of services and materials
- Improve existing methods of publicizing services
- Improve building internal and external signage
[Update: Using standardized promotional tools and events blog on website.
Greetsaver replaces some signage.
Promoting teen/adult events at Quality 16 preshows.
The services brochure is now distributed through the Newcomers Welcome Service of Ann Arbor.
Services and Library Card brochures printed in 5 languages.]

Goal 3: Develop and implement two-way communications with seniors, teens, adult literacy, and non-English speakers
- Use enhanced communication to develop and promote services to these target populations
[Update: Hundreds of comments per post and vibrant discussion of services occurring on the AXIS blog between teens and staff.
All youth services staff submit weekly blog entires to the new site highlighting materials and upcoming programs.
Teen advisory board model revamped to gain more input and participation on programming, services and collections for teens.]
