The University of Michigan's Japan Student Association presents Japan Cultural Festival 2008 Saturday March 22 in the East Hall Atriums from 1-5. There will be performances, Martial Arts, a tea ceremony and a variety of traditional Japanese Food. Wa karima su! (Understanding will take place)!
Martin Luther King, Jr. Film
AADL and Performance Network Theatre screen the documentary Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.: A Historical Perspective at the Downtown AADL on Wed., May 22 from 7-8:15 PM. The film examines the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., the subject of Performance Network's May production of The Mountaintop.
