Economic Stimulus Facts & Alerts Starting in May 2008, the U.S. Treasury Dept. will begin sending Economic Stimulus Payments to more than 130 million individuals. The stimulus payments will go out through the late spring and summer. The IRS has created a web site to provide info on how the program will work. Please note especially the warning on E-Mail and Telephone "Advance Payment" Scams using the IRS name. Let's be careful out there! |
 Featured Events Film: My Architect Filmmaker Nathaniel Kahn traveled the world on a very personal journey: to know his dead father by studying what he left behind. His father, architect Louis Kahn, left behind not only many renowned buildings, but people and feelings, too. The result of Nathaniel’s search is the first-person documentary My Architect: A Son’s Journey – a universal investigation of identity. The film will be screened at the Downtown Library on Thurs., Aug. 21 at 6:30 pm. (Not rated).
