Are you trying to get into the holiday spirit? Need a little nudging? Why not pop in a holiday CD to get you in the mood. At the Downtown library there is a special section set aside just for holiday CDs. That’s right! It’s in the regular CD section, right under the clock. Which must mean that it’s time to listen so some cheery tunes. (My favorite? A Christmas together by John Denver & The Muppets.) |
 Featured Events Cokie Roberts AADL is honored to host An Evening with Cokie Roberts at the Michigan Theater on Monday, May 19 at 7 pm. Ms. Roberts is Senior News Analyst for NPR and covers Congress, politics and public policy for ABC News. The event includes a book signing, with copies of her new book, Ladies of Liberty: The Women Who Shaped Our Nation, for sale. There is no charge for admission to this public event.
