Apply to Exhibit at the Ann Arbor District Library

Tens of thousands of people walk through our doors each month making us an ideal community space to showcase your work at either our Downtown or Malletts Creek Branch locations. From paintings and photographs, to ceramics and glass works, to special collections, a wide variety of media and shows are considered. Fill out an application to exhibit today, and take advantage of this fantastic community resource!

Applications are welcome anytime and are reviewed on a revolving basis. Exhibits run for six weeks and all works must remain available for the full six week period. We are currently accepting applications for the following time-slots:

Downtown Multi-Purpose Room Walls (2D work only)

  • Now through mid-April 2015: Rudolph Steiner Student Works
  • Mid-April through May 2015: Ann Arbor Public Schools Student Works
  • June through August 2015: Star-Spangled Banner
  • September through mid-October 2015: accepting applications
  • Mid-October through November 2015: Ann Arbor Women Artists
  • December 2015 through mid-January 2016: accepting applications
  • Mid-January 2016 through February 2016: accepting applications

Downtown 3rd Floor Walls (2D work only)

  • Now through mid-April 2015: Rudolph Steiner Student Works
  • Mid-April through May 2015: Ann Arbor Public Schools Student Works
  • June through mid-July 2015: AADL's New Art Prints
  • Mid-July through August 2015: Portraits by Bertie Bonnell
  • September through mid-October 2015: Kerrytown Book Festivals Student Book Covers
  • Mid-October through November 2015: Ann Arbor Women Artists
  • December 2015 through mid-January 2016: accepting applications
  • Mid-January 2016 through February 2016: accepting applications

Downtown Lower-Level Glass Display Cases (2D and 3D work - cases are 14" deep)

  • Mid-March through April 2015: Ann Arbor Women Artists
  • May through mid-June 2015: American Institute of Architects
  • Mid-June through July 2015: UM Women Faculty (group show)
  • August through mid-September 2015: Paintings by Betsy Beckerman and Joyce Tinkham
  • Mid-September through October 2015: Photographs by Sandy Schopbach
  • November 2015 through mid-December 2015: accepting applications
  • Mid-December 2015 through January 2016: accepting applications
