Library Lego League Registration Now Open!

LIbrary Lego LeagueLIbrary Lego League

Library Lego League registration is now open! Get your team of four builders going into grades 3-8 together and sign up for one of the three competitions now! Space is limited, and it's first come, first served, so reserve your spot before it's too late. If you're looking for a team to join, you can go ahead and register and check the 'please assign me to a team' box, or you might head over to the L3 Blog, start commenting on a post, and see if you can form a team online.

Library Lego League happens 7/5, 7/12, and 7/26, but before that, AADL staff will be doing our own Library Lego Event as a dry run for the real thing. I'll make a post after our dry run with pictures and details of the surprise challenge I made them face so you can get an idea of what's to come. I'll also post final rules here before the event, and as always, feel free to comment here with your questions (or contactus). I've got 8 Mindstorms NXT sets just sitting in my office waiting to see what YOU can do with them... so get your team together and get registered for the event!

i feel bad for the legos because no one even cares enough about them to post a single comment

I think this is an absolutely fantastic initiative on part of the library. Alongwith the Nintendo/Pokemon kid-friendly activities, the library is more accessible, relevant, accommodating, and useful for our children.

Wow, thanks for your feedback. I'm sure you understand when I say that doing these events, including our Pokemon tournaments, are my pleasure. =)

Hope to see you and your kids at some upcoming events!
