The Downtown library will re-open today, Wednesday, June 7 at 1:00 PM. All programs and events scheduled for this afternoon and evening will occur as planned.

Holds ready for pickup on Tuesday and Wednesday will be extended until Friday, June 8 and Saturday, June 9.

Fines will not accrue on items returned in dropboxes Downtown while the Library was closed.

This closure was a significant inconvenience for many, and we do apologize.

We are very happy to be able to open the doors today!

Well, your first mistake was calling someone who didn't have someone "on call" that night. Otherwise this would have been done already.
Independently owned plumbers are usually the hardest workers, for example, Roto Rooters will wreak havoc on your pipes, and rip you off.

I'm not sure where you are getting your information, but clearly you have not spoken with anyone who knows what is going on. Thanks for giving us your input.

I have some CD's due today that are on hold for another patron, so I wasn't able to renew them. But it sounds like they will be overdue because I dropped them in the downtown library drop box this afternoon. I won't be charged overdue fines, will I?

Will the memoir-writing class, which is scheduled from 3-5pm Wednesday at the main library, meet this week?
