I ran across this interesting news bite on the Tekuteku Angel Pocket Pedometer, a Tamagotchi-like device that interfaces with the Nintendo DS system. The game has small animals and humans that can only stay alive if you physically walk around. So if you sit on the couch too long, your animal gets a big belly! This game was created in Japan to address the country’s growing obesity problem. Do you think the game will motivate kids and parents to get off their rear and exercise? Would you play?
