Kerrytown Bookfest 2011 Reception Featuring Native American Poetry Selections By Poet Margaret Noori

Celebrate the 9th annual Kerrytown BookFest with a reception at the library. The Downtown Library will display the BookFest exhibit, "Michigan Voices" in the lower level display cases from September 2 through October 13.
This event features UM Professor, poet and 2011 BookFest Community Book Award winner, Margaret Noori. She will read Native American poetry and discuss the exhibit's many Native American items.
The Kerrytown BookFest, which will occur on Sunday, September 11, is an event celebrating those who create books and those who read them. The primary goal is to highlight the area's rich heritage in the book and printing arts while showcasing local and regional individuals, businesses, and organizations.
