The most important characteristics for a UM job seeker are perseverance and patience!!!!!

I applied for 77 jobs over 90 a 90 day period, had 6 call backs, 3 face-to-face interviews and was offered a job in April (a few years ago) but did not start until JULY. Don't give up!!

My dad works at the U of M

great idea

Thanks for the advice.

It's a really good idea.

It's usually a complicated process trying to get a job at U of M. Getting some tips on how to apply will be most helpful.

great opportunity

great service

What a great program! With so few jobs around and it being difficult to find them a program like this is wonderful! Luckily though I already have an amazing job so I won't be attending. Just glad we have libraries that help their patrons in this crazy economy!!

What a great opportunity to hear how to get there from an insider. Although, she'll probably have to mention that they're cutting jobs, not adding on new people.

My mom works in the UM hospital system.
