Take a hike @ Furstenberg Nature Area

Thursday, August 18 | 7:00-8:30 PM | All Ages

Join us for a nature walk through Furstenberg Nature Area with the City of Ann Arbor Natural Area Preservation staff. We’ll walk through prairie and woodlands viewing native plants and trees, and learning about the ecological restoration going on at this site. Mosquitos are likely to be abundant so bring along some protection.

Park in the lot off Fuller Road (across from Huron High School). We’ll meet near the restrooms.

I love hike/walks! I won't be here for it though:(

is this gallup park parking lot

The parking lot for the Furstenberg Nature Area is off of Fuller but further to the west from the Gallup parking lot. The turnoff has a traffic light.

I want to go it sounds cool.

What do you mean by native plants?

Native plants are plants are growing in an area when people settle such as in the westward movement across the U.S. Non native plants are often brought by those same settlers from their native country.

Love nature, But I hate bugs. :(
