Magdalen Fossum for Traveling Tunes and Tales

A couple of weeks ago Magdalen Fossum was invited to open for Buffy Sainte-Marie at the amazing Blissfest in northern Michigan. Now she will be performing at the Downtown Library on Thursday, July 28th at 7:00 pm for the first time! Magdalen is a talented 10 year old ukelele player and singer who will mix it up with stories and even a tandem tale. This should be fun for all music and story fans that are 5 years old and up!

The uke is a great instrument, accessible to everyone in terms of both price and skill! Not to mention how much fun it can be (search youtube for ukulele orchestra of great britain). Get inspired and try it out!

Wow!! 10? My sisters about that age and she wouldn't be able to do something like that! That's young, especially to be playing AND storytelling! Wow:) I hope I can make it. I'll have to see.

I've heard her perform at the Blind Pig. She's an amazingly composed and talented little girl, and also down-to-earth. Highly recommend catching this performance!
