Cool! These sound like great romance novels.

Who knew there were so many different categories of romance novels!

cool variety

I wonder if I'll read one...

It is always good to find some new authors to read.

Would the regency and historical categories ever overlap? Just wondering.

Reading new books is good for you!

I prefer to not read romance novels.

Do u like romance novels?

Yes, I do, most of them. I did not think I would until I was forced to read it for an award committee. I too, never knew there were so many sub-genres in Romance. I tend to like the ones set in contemporary/urban settings. I don't mind the vampires/zombies/magic ones either, and I must have strong female protagonists.

Hi MeganH:

Regency IS Historical - but it is a specific time period.

Wikipedia does a nice job explaining it.

Still waiting for the sci-fi romance category to become official...

I've read a few of these and they deserve to win!

Lauren Willig's "Mischief of the Mistletoe" is a Christmas special in a wonderful series of connected books which began with "The Secret History of the Pink Carnation." I'd recommend all of the books in that series to anyone who enjoyed "Mistletoe" and to anyone who enjoys the Regency Historical Romance genre!

I love romantic books

cool, need to check out

Great !
