AADL Presents Kids Rock Series @ TOP: Recess Monkey

Sunday July 3, 2011: 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm - Rackham Stage, Top of the Park

Seattle's celebrated band of teacher-rockers, Recess Monkey, bring their brand of "undeniably hip, yet also kid-accessible" music and humor to their first show in Michigan. High-energy, dance-driven sets, old favorites and new songs - kids and their parents love them!

This Sunday series is presented by AADL and the Ann Arbor Summer Festival.

All three bands were fantastic! And the iPad Pictionary was super fun, too. Thanks to AADL for bringing the bands. We discovered some new music!

I agree - all the bands were great! I enjoyed the fact that they each had their own style. Nice to see that there is unique and creative kids music out there - so much better than just listening to Raffi over and over.
