I am not very good at double dutch but i'd love to give it a try.

Sounds cool! I'll try to come if I can!

Sounds fun...

Awesome! Sounds fun. I'm not very good at jump roping myself, though.

Sounds excellent!

Not sure why this activity is for grades 4+ only. The library has almost no activities for K-3 this summer. My rising second grader would love to jump rope!

I like jump roping
I hope I can go.

Please feel free to bring your second grader to this program. Our age designations are to help patrons figure out which programs are right for their families. If you think that your child will enjoy this program, we'd love to see you there. Also, while the link at the top of the events page lists 6 programs for grades K-3, there are 23 programs listed as grades K-5 (there is a little overlap between the two lists). Those, too, are intended to serve the K-3 crowd. I hope this helps!

It was a blast! Our boys, 8 and 10yrs old, had way more fun than they expected, especially with the Chinese jumprope. We're off to buy one today. Thanks for the great introduction to some simple backyard fun. Having water to drink and the misters were a great idea.

Great idea!

I always wished I was a good jump roper. I can do simple things but that's about it :(
