April 9-14 is Architecture Week

The American Institute of Architects Huron Valley Chapter is now distributing a “Guide to Ann Arbor Architecture." The guide was developed from entries received from the membership of the Huron Valley Chapter and organized by the Guide to Architecture Committee. It's available free of charge throughout the community.

The 3rd printing of the Guide to Ann Arbor Architecture includes directions on how to download podcasts narrated by local architects for each of the 35 buildings in the guide. Eighteen podcasts are now posted in both voice and video and voice only formats on the AIA Michigan Webpage. On location filming of 17 more podcasts is now in progress.

The Malletts Creek Branch of the AADL, designed by the architecture firm Luckenbach|Ziegelman, received the AIA Michigan Design Award in 2005.
