UMS Book Discussion for Teachers: Trickster: Native American Tales
UMS "Reading Culture" Book Clubs for educators expand and build upon ideas within the UMS season of events, using facilitated sessions, as participants explore and express opinions about stimulating books and learn strategies for leading classroom book discussions. The first 30 registrants receive a free copy of the book. Registration is required.
The editor, Matt Dembicki will be the guest speaker for the session on Tuesday, March 15, 4:30 - 7:30 pm in the Multi-Purpose room of the Downtown library. Matt Dembicki has commissioned 15 Native American storytellers to write trickster tales, allowing them to collaborate with a graphic artist of their choosing .
