Are you looking to join a book club, start a book club, or find a new book for your existing book club to read? Check out AADL’s Book Clubs To Go!
We have over 100 titles to choose from, both fiction and non-fiction, in ready made kits, ready for your to check out. There are classics like The Bell Jar and The Great Gatsby, and newer titles like The Audacity of Hope and Never Let Me Go. Book Clubs To Go check out for six weeks, are now available at all the branches, and if what you want isn’t available, you can place a hold on it. You form the group, we supply the books, it’s that easy!
Each kit comes in a zippered canvas tote and includes:
• 10 copies of the featured book
• 1 copy of the movie on DVD if available
• Summary information and reviews of the title(s)
• An author biography
• A list of suggested discussion questions and read-alikes
• Tips for book groups on how to select discussion titles
• Book club resources; web sites and print
