Mark Zuckerberg, founder of Facebook, is Time Magazine's 2010 Person of the Year

by sernabad

Mark Zuckerberg, founder of THE social networking site, Facebook, was named Time Magazine's 2010 Person of the Year just moments ago.

Zuckerberg, who is the world's youngest self-made billionaire at age 26, first began work on Facebook when he was a student at Harvard. It was designed to post pictures and information to be shared among the student body. Once he brought in other colleges, Facebook took off and, by last count (July 2010), it had more than 500 million users, a number sure to skyrocket after this morning's announcement.
