Shade's Children is a great

Also along those lines, you could check out the movies [b:1267029|Logan's Run] and [b:1218712|Gattaca]. Oddly enough, I had to watch both in high school....
I think I heard they're going
I think I heard they're going to make a film version of The Giver. I'm not sure I can imagine how it can be done on film as powerfully as the book is written...

The Supernaturalist is an AWESOME choice. It's one of my favorite books! I've read it so many times that my copy is worn out and beat up....but I love it so. I too have read Shade's Children and loved it a lot.
