What is Palliative Care?

Many of us are in the position making decisions about treatment for advanced or terminally ill parents and loved ones. This can be very stressful, and it is crucial to have support and good information. Caroline A. Vitale, MD, and social worker Diane Griffith from the UM Geriatrics Center will be at the Traverwood Branch on Tuesday, June 8, 7-8:30 pm to discuss the medical and social aspects of palliative care.
