Sensory Storytime

This event is intended for age 3–7

This special storytime includes 20 minutes of interactive stories, rhymes, and movement, plus 40 minutes of adaptive free play!

This event is designed for young listeners with developmental disabilities and their friends and families.

Hi there! This storytime is shorter than our regular preschool storytimes, and developed with certain guidelines to make it a more calm environment for listeners with ASD, sensory processing disorder, or other developmental disabilities. Hope that helps!

I see that this event is geared towards kiddos with ASD, that is awesome! Would this storytime be well suited for my ADHD kiddo? Or would that be counter to the low sensory considerations?

Hi Magdalene, the stories are shorter than in our regular storytime, so it might be a good fit! Please feel free to bring your little one! If it's not a good fit, we never take offense to folks leaving mid-program! You could also always come back for the playtime. Thanks! -Evelyn
