Relaxing on vacation

It’s much better than home

I just love to travel

To go around and roam

Lying on the burning sand

Under the scorching sun

Building castles and forts galore

Oh boy, so much fun

Jumping into the water

Floating in the sea

Looking at the reef

The fish and the reeds

Swimming further into the reef

And enjoying all that can be seen

It’s a whole new world down here

Happy as can be

But the mood quickly changed

As another diver turned around the corner

For there was a hungry great white shark

But there was not enough time to warn her

I panicked like crazy

And swam as fast as I could’ve

But my fellow swimmer

didn’t react as fast as she should’ve

Once I reached the shore

I yelled “Come on, let’s go”

But I guess she didn’t hear me

Because the shark was gaining and she was going too slow

I couldn’t take it any more

I was too scared to be a hero

I close my eyes and hear a chomp and a scream
