He sat there panting, his tongue hanging out as slobber slowly rolls down it.  His paws spread out, all four pointing to a different corner, his belly facing up to the ceiling. A short walk around the block and he is already worn out. “Man, how come she always does this to me? Why does she force me to walk? Why do I get so excited when I know I am going to be tired after this over?” His breathing starts to slow down and his ginger fur starts to show as he rolls over when he hears the sound of water filling up his bowl. He jumps up onto all four, sprints from the living room, through the dining room, into the kitchen where his red bowl sits with cold water. He dips his tongue into the water. “Ahh, much better” he thinks. He makes his way back to the living room where he will begin his afternoon nap.
