Her soul as sweltering as a crackling fire. As she closes off her legs to the darkness and begins to see the warm light. The warmth of her heart brings a girls lips to hers. A dark closet where they both should hide. The fever cannot hide beneath the layers of secrets between them. “Mom we’re just friends”. Even though late at night the sultriness of their love starts to burn off the secrets they keep. “I love her mom” she whispers through cold tongues. A hug, filled with incalescence of comfort and care. The sunshine returns to her thoughts and the closet door opens to the heatwave of beauty and happiness outside.
