Find the Right Preschool for your Family

by battlem

Preschool Expo will be held at the Palmer Commons on the campus of the University of Michigan, 100 Washtenaw Avenue, Ann Arbor on Sunday, March 7, 2010 from 1:00-4:00pm. Representatives from over 50 preschools will be on hand to answer your questions, share promotional materials, and show examples of some of the great activities going on at their schools. This event is free and open to the public! What a great opportunity to learn about many preschools, all in one place. This event is sponsored by the Ann Arbor District Library, Child Care Network, U of M Work/Life Programs, and Washtenaw Success by Six.

Check out the Ann Arbor Nursery Co-op. All four of my children attended there and it was a wonderful experience. The teacher, Lynn Archer, is phenomenal. She is fun, creative, understands the development of preschool children so well, is compassionate, confident and can handle/nurture/teach any child. She is the preK kid whisperer. She is also very supportive and a great mentor for parents. The co-op experience is great if you want to be involved with like-minded parents in a very close, community oriented learning experience. Also, co-ops tend to be much cheaper if you are willing to put in a little extra effort. A wonderful experience for my family. Great memories and great friends.
