Tunes at the hospital

Among the many great free musical events and series in this town is the "Gifts of Arts" program at the University of Michigan Medical Center which includes musical performances and art exhibits. This Thursday, January 14 at 12:10 p.m., the Royal Garden Trio will be performing in the hospital's main lobby. The trio plays vintage swing reminiscent of 30's style jazz. The trio is composed of Brian Delaney on guitar, Tom Bogardus on tenor guitar and clarinet and Mike Karoub on cello. If you want to listen beforehand, we have their cds in our collection.
