Description

Today’s lunchtime panel covers The Creative Industries and Cultural Economic Development and features Jennifer Goulet, CEO, Creative Many; Neel Hajra, CEO, Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation and Joe Malcoun, CEO, Nutshell.

The arts have a unique ability to stimulate economic development in a community and nurture innovation in a business. The panelists of this session discuss their experiences and the metrics by which they've assessed success in ways that clearly point to arts ability to spark progress and innovation.

An exciting and new festival of the Ann Arbor Art Center, POP·X will create new spaces for the arts by placing pavilions designed by artists and architects throughout the area. This annual festival is a burst of imagination and inspiration that will fill city parks, businesses, and neighborhoods with vibrancy through expressions of contemporary art. Art for Innovators is held in conjunction with POP·X and is sponsored in part by Old National Bank.
