Description
Researchers from the University of Michigan's Living Lab program will discuss their studies on how children think about things like social power, race, resource scarcity, future selves, and money saving and spending. Researchers will demonstrate the tasks used with children, report on some interesting findings, and make connections to the real-world issues facing parents, teachers, and other adults who work with children. It will be a fun and interactive event with lots of room for questions and conversations!
The Living Lab program brings UM researchers into public spaces where interested families can participate in studies. Living Lab sites are located in the Ann Arbor District Library, the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum, and the UM Museum of Natural History.
