Description

Got an idea for a webcomic but don't know where to start? Having trouble finding the time to put into that comics project? Or maybe you just want a break from creating alone in your studio (or the coffee shop) and wish you could work along side of your fellow comics creators? Come to the monthly Webcomics Lab at AADL, where you can make your comics in the company of other cartoonists.

This month's guest will be Ann Arborite Laur Uy talking about the challenges of maintaining longform comics on the web. Laur's stories focus on female-driven manga-inspired stories and we'll talk about the unique issues in creating and publishing them. She's the creator of the weekly webcomic Poulterguys (updates every Tuesday) - Bree is a nerdy college girl who moves into a house that's filled with ghost guys. Since she's the only one who can see them, she has to help each of them resolve their unfinished business! Polterguys volume 1 can also be checked-out in book form. Look for volume 2 to be published soon.
