Map Madness with Decoupage

This event is intended for adults and teens (grade 6 and up).

Use colorful old maps and decoupage techniques to create small, decorative keepsake boxes.

I love old maps. What are some good sources for obtaining them? Besides the bottom of a drawer, because old AAA maps from 5 years ago shouldn't be the only option!

Willow, other than the side pocket in my car :-), a good source for old maps is various thrift stores. Maybe even the Friends of AADL bookstore? Old Nat'l Geo mags often have supplemental maps, if they haven't fallen out.

@willow if you are a AAA member, you can get free maps at the office! at the one I used to go to, there were vending machines of maps for all the states. They also had lots of guidebooks that had maps.
