NaNoWriMo Kickoff Party

This event is intended for adults and teens (grade 9 and up).

If you've ever thought about writing a novel, here's your inspiration: NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month)!

Hosted by the local NaNo liaisons Eric Foldenauer and Hilary Braley, this event includes refreshments- so come and enjoy and get your creative juices flowing. Meet other local writers to inspire you to face the challenge!

National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is a non-profit event that encourages teens and adults to tackle the challenge of writing a novel during the month of November. Participants begin writing on November 1 with the goal of a writing 50,000 word (approximately 175 page) novel by 11:59:59, November 30.

An official NaNoWriMo writing session will be held at the Downtown Library during November, but get a head start and celebrate with this great kick-off party!
