Jamie Ford, the New York Times bestselling author of Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet will visit AADL to discuss his highly-anticipated second novel Songs of Willow Frost, just released in September to outstanding reviews. The event includes a book signing and books will be on sale.

Jamie is the great-grandson of Nevada mining pioneer Min Chung, who emigrated from Kaiping, China to San Francisco in 1865, where he adopted the Western name “Ford,” thus confusing countless generations. Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet, won the 2010 Asian/Pacific American Award for Literature and has been translated into 32 languages. (Photo by Laurence Kim)
