Minecraft 1.4.4 has been released, AADL Minecraft Server status

We had been waiting for CraftBukkit to release a normal 1.4.2 build before updating our server to the same. However, Notch and the crew at Mojang managed to release 1.4.4 before Bukkit ever got anything beyond a pair of beta releases out the door.
So, we'll change tactics and upgrade to the beta of CraftBukkit 1.4.4 as soon as one is released.
Failing that, we're going to look at the possibility of running a vanilla server with manual plugins.
Wanted to keep you all in the loop. If you have suggestions, please reply.

There may be a posting about this, but my children are playing on the server, but a user named "youserethan" has decided profanity is fine, and destruction (griefing) as well... Is there an op available via email at any given time?
There needs to be either a language plugin, or a recourse for parents.
