Special Documentary Screening
The documentary “Never a Bystander” tells the story of Dr. Irene Butter, who, at age 14, endured and survived internment in concentration camps in Nazi Germany. The film, which shares Irene’s message of optimism and courage in the face of injustice, will be followed by a talk from Dr. Butter and Ann Arbor filmmaker Evelyn Neuhaus about their work and experiences sharing Irene’s story and uplifting message. Don’t miss this special screening at 7 pm on Monday, April 20 at the Downtown Library.
