Legendary comedian Bob Newhart has been selected as a subject for the PBS American Masters series in a program that will air Wednesday night. At 75, Newhart is still performing regularly and appearing in films (most recently, Elf). Check out some of his other work, notably, his trademark one-sided telephone skit in Hell Is For Heroes. We've got several things going on that make that request link disappear, Ed, even though we want it to be there, no matter what. In this case, the catalog does not offer a request link if the only copies of the title are on the holdshelf.
Don't ask. We're working on it, but believe it or not, as soon as the person picks up their hold, you'll be able to request it again.
