Making Something Out Of Nothing: Extreme Improvisation With Sneakin' Out

by hillary dorwart

Wednesday June 27, 2012: 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm -- Downtown Library: Multi-Purpose Room

Rock out with the Portland-based band Sneakin' Out who feature some crazy mash-ups. Take a look into their weird and wild song-writing process. This workshop has it all from classical music to '80s rock anthems!

This event is co-sponsored by the Ann Arbor Summer Festival and is for grades 4 - 8.

This sounds like fun, but ...
"teens in grades 4 - 8" ??

is this for teens? or for students in grades 4-8?
there's not much overlap there....

Wow! There was so much great stuff going on earlier today. I could probably spend every day taking the kids to different activities all summer long, not just for the Ann Arbor Summer Festival.

I missed the library event, but saw them play live opening for Nellie McKay last night. It was such a fun show! The drummer with all those instruments was amazing! He played a Stones song on a typewriter!
