Minecraft: Ann Arbor

by hillary dorwart

Saturday May 26, 2012: 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm -- Downtown Library: Training Center

Join in celebrating the launch of Minecraft@AADL! We are hosting our own Minecraft server and we need you to help us build it. Be one of the first to lay the virtual bricks for this cool addition to your Library! Minecraft is a game about placing blocks to build anything you can imagine!

This event is for teens (grade 6 and up) and adults.

This is fantastic! Unfortunately, we learned about this too late. Will there be Internet access? Can you give any more information?

This event is on Saturday and no registration is required. You can come to the downtown library for the kick off celebration of AADL's minecraft server. After the kick off the library's server will become publicly accessible. Your goal is to use imported street maps to help recreate Ann arbor's downtown in different time periods.

oh what time? and this is my first time commenting on something and joineing the server i kinda missed going on saterday D:
but other then that im really hopeing to meet new people and more minecrafters from my area :D

If everything goes to plan, I'm aiming for 9pm.
What you saw on Saturday was a little over 10 million blocks to make up the area you saw.
The grid covering everything within the highway ring around the city and a little outside amounts to 130 million blocks.
