ABCs Of Early Literacy: From Babbling To Books - A Workshop For Parents, Caregivers And Professionals Working With Young Children

This workshop, provided by MSU Extension, is directed at parents and professionals working with young children, whether in a public library or childcare setting. A second workshop on school readiness will be offered at 1:00 pm.
Learn more about the sights and sounds of emergent literacy, the precursor to formal reading. These reading readiness skills include oral language development, experimental writing, print awareness, phonological awareness, vocabulary, comprehension and alphabetic principle.
